Cookies

Which files we put in your browser and what they do. There are few: none of us likes banners, and the best way not to make them hated is to need them as little as possible.

In short

A cookie is a small file a site leaves in your browser to remember something. Some are essential, some optional. The optional ones do not start here until you say yes: the banner comes before, not after.

The ones that simply have to be there

These cannot be refused because the site does not work without them, and the law does not require consent for them.

  • bangherang_session — keeps track of your visit. Lasts the session and disappears when you close the browser.
  • XSRF-TOKEN — stops another site submitting forms in your name. Same duration.
  • consenso_cookie — remembers the choice you made here, so we do not ask again every visit. Lasts six months. If you refuse, this one still stays: it is the only way to remember that you said no.

The statistics ones, if you agree

They count how many people read which pages. They are anonymous and we do not use them for advertising.

  • Google Analytics 4, if enabled — truncated IP address, no advertising data, up to fourteen months. Google uses the standard contractual clauses for transfers outside the European Union.
  • Microsoft Clarity, if enabled — maps of where people click. We record the page, not you: form fields are masked at source.

If you do not agree, these scripts are not even downloaded. It is not a switch that turns them off afterwards: they simply never start.

What is not here

No social buttons that follow you, no advertising pixels, no embedded map loading scripts before you ask, no web font loaded in a way that hands your IP address to a third party without consent.

That is a choice: less of other people's stuff inside the site means less to explain on this page.

Changing your mind

With the button below, whenever you like. Or by clearing cookies in your browser settings, in which case the banner comes back next visit.

For any request about your data, write to info@bangherangstudio.it. We answer ourselves, within thirty days as the Regulation requires.
