How much does custom business software cost?
Custom software for a small company usually starts from a few thousand euros for the first working module, and grows from there. We build the part that saves the most time first, put it into use straight away, and decide whether to continue based on the results. The first meeting is free and is about whether it is worth doing at all. We are based in Naples and work across Italy.
Custom software or an off-the-shelf program?
Custom is worth it when the way your company works is particular and a standard program would force you to change it. Off-the-shelf is worth it when it already covers 90 per cent of what you need: in that case we say so, because there is no sense paying to rebuild what exists.
How long does it take?
The first usable piece usually in four to eight weeks, then it grows module by module. We do not do projects that reveal themselves only after eight months: each piece goes into use as soon as it is ready, so corrections stay cheap.
Do you build websites too?
Yes. Company websites, online shops, sites with bookings and payments, and the work to rank on Google. We are a Naples studio that came out of publishing: our pages are laid out by the rules of print, not filled up.
Do you do company networks and Wi-Fi?
Yes, and it is half of what we do. Access points for warehouses, clubs, hotels and building sites; dedicated fibre and leased lines; Starlink satellite links where no line reaches. Also servers, business email and backups. Software is worthless if the Wi-Fi drops at the back of the warehouse.
Do you connect tills and printers?
Yes. Cash registers, kitchen order printers, warehouse label printers and barcode scanners get connected to the software, so nothing has to be retyped on a separate sheet.
Do you handle social media?
No, and it is not a gap: it is a choice. Running social media properly is a full-time trade, and we do something else — business software, websites and networks — and have done for twenty years. But we work with Naples agencies who do social for a living, and we introduce you ourselves: whoever comes to Bangherang finds the right person already there.
Why not offer everything like other agencies?
Because anyone listing ten services is credible in none of them. We chose three — custom business software, websites and company networks — and have worked on those from Naples since 2005. For the rest we have trusted people we pass the work to, while remaining your single point of contact.
If I also need marketing, do I have to look elsewhere?
No, we put you in touch with the right people. In house we run Google campaigns and search positioning; for social media and communications we work with partner agencies in Naples we have collaborated with for years. You talk to us, and we handle the coordination.
Do you only work in Naples?
The studio is in Naples, in via Vincenzo Arangio Ruiz. Our clients are across Italy: software work is done remotely, while for networks and installations we travel.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. Everything we build works on computer, tablet and phone from the same address with the same login. No apps to download, no cut-down versions.
Who are you and how long have you been going?
Bangherang Studio is in Naples and has been working since 2005. We are seven: four developers, an analyst, someone who finds the faults and someone who runs the Google campaigns. We were born inside iTheritage, a Neapolitan publisher of travel guides, and that is where our approach to layout comes from.
What happens after the software is ready?
We stay. Go-live is the beginning, not the end: we fix what only shows up in daily use, add what turns out to be needed, and the person who answers the phone is the person who wrote the code. Some clients have been with us for fifteen years.
Do you handle electronic invoicing?
Yes, our systems generate and submit Italian electronic invoices and handle the receipts. Anything touching invoices or money always runs as a dry run first, so you see what would have happened before it does.
